Data Label Field Revert to Default Value on Close

Hello,

I have a dashboard that contains this chart visual: 

I want the data labels to show a text field (same as the legend) as opposed to the current numerical value. I can change the Field setting, and it will give me the desired display. Howver when I save->close-> reopen, it reverts back to the number labels. This also happens when I publish. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
