Data Gateway Power BI
Hi all,
Can we install gateway on a VM? If so what are the conditions and how could we connect to Power BI Desktop after installing ?

Anonymous yes you can install the gateway on VM machine assuming that VM machine can access the data source you are trying to use in your power bi report.
Power BI Desktop doesn't connect with the gateway, it is the power bi service (online) that talk to your gateway to refresh reports online.
