Dear Power BI community,
I have a dataset that includes various company names and addresses. Before I imported the data into Power BI, I performed a clean up of the data to ensure the company names are listed correctly. For instance, I may have company ABC, or company ABC Inc., or company ABC LTD., etc. In essence they are all the same company. In the future I will get an updated data set and perform a clean up of this data which is time consuming. Does there exist a feature in Power BI that will automaticlly perform the data clean up for me so I won't have to go through this process again?

I am assuming that your reports stays the same but the source is being updated in regular bases. Since Power BI keeps the steps this will should work for you, the only time you need to make a change if there were any new clients with different names
Although Power BI does have some good cleaning functions, we used a specific Data Quality Tool to ensure our data was correctly aligned, populated and duplicate free. We were then able to feed our cleansed datasets directly into Power BI. Hope that helps.
Please check out this article. It might work for you

Hasan,
Thank you for the response. However I was wondering if there is a way to automate the find replace function so I would not have to perform the same cleanup each time.
