Hi, I work on powerbi for my company and I have been facing an issue lately.
We use recent data weekly to update our PowerBI Reports. Recently, I have noticed that on every refresh my previous data is changing as well. What I mean by that is value that was recorded in January is different from what I can see now on my recent update.
Can you please advise what this might have caused? Thank you
Hi @iamumer2195 ,
Is the data for the past January really the same as the data for the latest January? And is there any change in the usage of the dax function or pq opeations, is it affected by some slicer or filter?
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao

@iamumer2195 , if the data is changing at source, power bi refresh will change. It depends on the date used and the duration used in the incremental setting
Like update date baed incremental can change data of Jan created or sales date in Jan
Thank you for your quick response.
I have checked the source and data is same to what I received in January. Still I see a difference in terms of result. I have checked all the filters and everything seems to be in order. This is why it is confusing for me that what might be causing the problem.
