Dashboard Assistance Neeeded
Looking to develop a dashboard and keep running into significant roadblocks and any point to a resource I can utilize (do not mind paying) would be extremely helpful.
3PLFORALL , You can use Power app if you want to create forms, or even the new translytical task flows in power bi for input.
You should use RLS to secure data by each client
Power BI- Row Level Security(RLS): Handle ALL, UserPrincipalName: https://youtu.be/KVLEnIUo4pc
You can use OLS to control measure, but if you share report, then it may error if the column or measure is not present. You can consider power bi perspectives.

Hi 3PLFORALL ,
Thank you for reaching out.
To effectively build your dashboard, start by ensuring your Excel files have consistent columns such as Date, Client, Deliverable, Value, and Unit. This will help you track both standard and custom deliverables across all clients. Store these files in a central SharePoint folder, either as a consolidated file or as separate files per client, but keep the same structure throughout.
In Power BI, connect to your Excel files using the “SharePoint Folder” option and use Power Query to clean column names, set correct data types, and standardize units as needed. Build your data model with dimension tables for clients, deliverables, and a calendar, and set up the necessary relationships.
Create DAX measures for key KPIs, including inbound pallets, shipment accuracy percentage, and 24-hour fulfilment. Use these to design report pages such as executive summaries, client-specific breakdowns, trend analyses, and exception alerts. Incorporate slicers for filtering by client, deliverable, date, or unit.
Once complete, publish your report to Power BI Service, schedule data refreshes from SharePoint, and securely share the dashboard with executives or clients using Power BI’s sharing options.
