Dasboard vs report

i have question here when we report refresh the tiles in dashbaord refreshes automatically or do we need to set any properties.

In my case i see numbers are being chnaged at report level but not in dashbaord. if anyone can help here?

    When you refresh the dataset in dashboard they automatically refresh if you have it open. In reports it doesn't happen you need to click on refresh button in menu...but if you are changing tiles properties they not change I dashboard you need to pin again the tile and delete the old one

      so you mean if i changed the tile in report with new measure or did any modifications .should i need to pin the updated tile in dashbaord by removing the old tile ?.

      Is there any time difference once the report got refreshed and dashaord values to be updated?
