Daily YTD Average problem

Hi- I am spinning my wheels on how to calculate a Daily YTD Average (by month).  See sample table and power bi data below.

  • If you have a date table set up, then you should be able to write something like this

     

    CALCULATE ( AVERAGE ( TableEx[Rev] ), DATESYTD ( DateTable[Date] ) )

  • Do you have a date dimension table? The time intelligence functions need one set up to work properly, otherwise, you'll have to write the time logic more manually.
