Dahboard tiles to stay the same with new dataset

Hi,

I have a dahsboard with several tiles. I need to replace the dataset in the report that the dashboard is connected to. If i replace this dataset with a similar one (same columns etc), will the tiles auto update to and pull through?

Hi @Anonymous,

If I understand your scenario correctly that you published a report to Power BI service before  and pin the tiles to a dashboard. Now  you want to relpace it with a report contain the similar dataset, your question is that will the tiles auto update with the newdataset?

By my tests, the tiles in the dashboard will be auto replaced to be the new data.
