DAX new column with filtered value

Hello,

I have a database containing information about countries from all over the world. I want to create a new column with only EU countries; therefore I need to exclude the country names (they are strings). How can I proceeded?

Hi,

If you created and joined a second table containing only EU countries to the country name of the current table and then used a measure

Measure = SELECTEDVALUE('Table (2)'[Country]), this would only include those EU countries.

that would limit the selected countries.
