Hello Community !
Im trying to get manager's grade values based on column Employees' grade (that contains all Staff). All columns are in one table. I would like to apply something similar to excel vlookup formula. Or maybe there is another way (power query)?
Thank you for you help in advance and any suggestions.
| Employee ID | Employee's Grade | Manager ID | Manager's Grade |
| 395350 | 1 | 495599 | |
| 395835 | 2 | 848922 | |
| 873022 | 3 | 949992 | |
| 524884 | 2 | 495599 | |
| 495599 | 5 | 933944 | |
| 827173 | 4 | 978272 | |
| 848922 | 5 | 875474 | |
| 837326 | 2 | 848922 | |
| ... | ... | ... |

Sorry, My previous table migh look unclear.
So, below table contains all staff IDs (individuals on each grade including managers) and their grades (column Personal's Grade) together with assigned manager (column Manager ID), so Im trying to retrieve (from column Personal' Grade) accurate grade of the specific manager and populate the column accordingly (highlighted in red)
Hope, this gives more detailed view.
ok. I managed that via Power Query merge feature.
Thank you
