DAX formula to have latest rate by date

hi all,

I had data as below:

date           country     rate

-----------  --------    -------

4/1/2017    USA            1.02

6/1/2017    USA            1.04

10/1/2017  USA            1.05     <---

4/1/2017    UK              1.07

6/1/2017    UK              1.04

10/1/2017  UK              1.10     <---

by using DAX formula to create measure how I can achive only last date rate of each country?  (rates required: USA = 1.05, UK = 1.10)

i found a topic while searchin on google but its old enough (2017) and i think there are many enhancements in DAX so it can be very different than that.  the link to that solution: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Finding-value-related-to-latest-Date/m-p/109548#M46086

hope someone help. i am using Power BI Desktop current version (downloaded and installed on Thursday 27th May, 2021)

regards
