DAX error duplicates results

Hi and thank you for your interest!

I'm need to calculate the company size of each registrant to a webinar versus various segments of clients as showned here:

As you see, I get it twice/duplicated! I only have 5 options in my DB (+ unfilled) and it gives me 10.

I don't need a formula there:

Axe = I am

Legend = company size

Value = number of company size

Anyway, if I do it with a formula such as COUNTX, I get the same error

And DISTINCTCOUNT counts 10 different values instead of 5!

I have tried with 2 different DB (registrants & Attendees) and same error.

My 1st BI project goes so well... but this and I'm really stuck, I an't understand despite it is so simple. I would appreciate so much your help! 😉

Right click on your cny size column, you will get option to create a group. Here you can group items which should be part of one group and then create 5 or 6 groups that you wish to have.

    i hope it resolve your issue.

    Hi Anonymous ,

    Whether the problem has been resolved? If yes, could you please mark the helpful post as Answered? It will help the others in the community find the solution easily if they face the same problem with yours.

    On the other hand, if the problem has not been solved, could you please check if the company size has only the six options in the screenshot below as AlexisOlson suggested? The field company size is default field or calculated column? Please provide the related formula if it is a calculated column and some sample data in order to make troubleshooting. Thank you.

    Best Regards

      Thank you for your help and apologize for such late answer... yes, I still don't understand the bug but this solution did work fine. Thanks again.

  • My first guess would be that some of your company size values have extra whitespace in the text.
