DAX Measures error

Hello,

 

I'm connecting live to PBI with Tabular model, and having trouble with some DAX measures.

I can't create DAX measures with "if" statements... the column name is highlighted in red, but no explicit error text is provided...

Do all measures need to include an aggregative function (sum, avg, max...)? Or can DAX measures just be some logic expression like if?

    Yael all measures need to be aggregated, otherwise you need to use a calculated column (not sure thats possible in a live connection to tabular)
