Dear PBI Community,
I am working on learning Power BI, and was wondering if anyone knows of any free material to help me learn more DAX. Especially the simpler things like adding, dividing, concatenating, etc. I have already learned a lot of these things in Excel but would now like to learn to use them in PBI. Thanks in advance!

The number one resource would be directly from the Microsoft website,
(https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg413422.aspx). This page contains a library of all functions, syntax, and examples.
Another way to learn is within the Power BI Desktop tool itself, start typing the name of a formula you would like to use (names are very similar to Excel formuals) in the formula bar. The prediction tool will help you learn what formulas exist, what they do, and what parameters are needed for each.
List of formulas as you type
