Hi Anonymous 

take a look at the following solution:

 

 

Sum of Sales = SUM('Table'[Sales])


Running Total = 
CALCULATE(
    [Sum of Sales],
    FILTER(
        ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[Year]),
        'Table'[Date] <= MAX('Table'[Date])
    )
)
