After many more google searches I was able to find this, Stack Overflow Calc MaxDesired Output=CALCULATE(MAX([Check]),FILTER(Table1,[Name]=EARLIER([Name])))

But what you going to do if you have unsorted list? You can't really on ordering in general. Is there is way to do this without order dependence?
