## DATESINPERIOD Rolling N months calculation

Hi,

I am beginner in PBI and trying to calculate 6 month rolling sales with DATESINPERIOD function, however it is ignorring filter context.

While normal sales and YtD sales are shown with Blanks (for filtered data), R6M calculates a measure for MIN date in the calendar (as per function description).

Is there any way to find an elegant solution to not calculate MIN data if its blank?

Measures:

m_Sales = SUM(SALES[AMOUNT])

m_Sales_YTD = CALCULATE([m_Sales], DATESYTD('CALENDAR'[Date]))

m_Sales_R6M = CALCULATE([m_Sales], DATESINPERIOD('CALENDAR'[Date],MAX('CALENDAR'[Date]),-6,MONTH))
