DATEDIFF_BIG Azure DW Direct Query

Hi, I have used DATEDIFF and I think it is getting translated to DATEDIFF_BIG on backend and there it is giving error that function is not recognised. As per online docs function is available in SQ...

    So this is a bug which is supposed to be fixed correct?

      Hmm, well, I don't know about that or whose responsibility it would be to fix that issue, the Power BI team or the Azure DW team. Your best bet is to log an Issue here in the Power BI community and see what feedback you get. I didn't see an existing issue out there when I checked:

        Greg_Deckler, dilkushpatel I got the information from our senior engineers that it is an error in the documentation: the function DATEDIFF_BIG is not actually supported in Azure SQL DW. So, that is the reason why you get that error message. A defect is issued to fix the documentation issue, however, no ideas about when this function is going to be available in Azure SQL DW. Thanks for reporting this issue!
