DATE FORMAT ISSUE ON POWER BI

Hi guys, i am trying to format the date from 06/12/2021 16:44  (dd/mm/yyyy 2400* military time) to 12/06/2021. However, every time i try to format the date, it keeps thinking its June 12th 2021 but it should display December 6th, 2021. I tried changing the date format but that doesn't work. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@Anonymous what is the actual value of the date in the source?  If the value is being loaded as June 12th, no amount of reformatting will change it to December 6th.

In Power Query, locate where the value is being converted to Date Type.  Select "Using Locale", and set to the desired locale for interpretation.
