Hi,
I've been looking online, but there doesn't seem to be much on this topic. Is there a way to customize the loading "spinner" icon (i.e. make it bigger, change the color, change its positioning), in order to make it clear that a visualization is loading and that a user is not simply looking at an empty report page?
My report theme has dark headers and so it makes it very hard to see the loading icon (see screenshot below).
Thanks!
Happy 7th Birthday to this thread! Still not fixed 😃 🎈🎈🎈🎈
7 years later, still the same... but yay AI
we found a workaround which was to add 25pt padding around the worksheet.
It is now 7 years, 2026 now AI revolution era but we still can not make Loading icon bigger.
Replying to boost an issue that is over 6 years old and the second biggest issue I have behind dashboard latency
This is a MAJOR defect with PowerBI. If the user has to sit there waiting, they should be able to see that the system is still working on the problem.
I agree, or a loading button would be amazing!
Any updates on this ? It would be a helpful addition for our users !
May sound cheesy, but this is the whole reason I do not use directquery in SSAS models. I need to have lighning fast load times otherwise people get confused, BECAUSE THE SPINNER IS TOO HARD TO SEE!
Any updates on this, if we can customize spinner?
