Customers with no SALES, using time intelligence parameter
Hello dear community,
I need to create one comparison of NO SALES customers. I found this article, however, we don´t have date table in my schema, we work with the "time intelligence" parameter of powerbi Desktop, who automatically creates date hierarchy.

It would work? Does anyone have another suggestion?
Best Regards,
Bruno
Hi brunozanoelo - If you don't have a dedicated date table and rely on Power BI's auto-generated date hierarchy, you can still compare "No Sales" customers over different periods, but it might be more limited and less flexible. The auto-generated date hierarchy works for simple time intelligence functions, but for more advanced scenarios like comparing "No Sales" customers, a dedicated date table is usually recommended.
You can use DATEADD, PARALLELPERIOD, or other time functions, but they rely on a proper date column.
Make sure your date column in the sales table is in date format and that the auto date/time feature is enabled.Auto date/time in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
