1st Button slicer filter = apple applied then
2nd Button JR, KR, TR list showing as per filter layout
1st Button orange applied filter
2nd Button KR, TR showing with in fitted layout as bigger size of button because of 2 layer only
Type button layout grid size should not changed if apply filter in apple, how to fix the size
Set the slicer grid to a fixed layout:
Format visual → Grid layout
Columns = fixed (e.g., 3)
Rows = fixed (e.g., 2)
Responsive = Off
This locks button size, so it won’t resize when filters reduce items.
@RajK2 What about to try to create one dimension for name and another for type (and these dimension columns put into the filters). Then connect it to current table and you will see always all the name and types in the filter. And central table will be filtered by both dimensions.
Hi @RajK2
Select the Name slicer and enable edit interactions from Format section at Top.
Then Click on None in the second slicer as shown below. This should meet your requirements.
Hope this helps !!
Edit interaction not a way to solve this problem.
It should apply filter but button size should be fixed, should not changed in 'Type'
apply or not apply filter , size fixed dimension.
Hi @RajK2
As suggested earlier by @wardy912 , In the current Power BI button slicer visual, there’s no setting to maintain a fixed card/button size when the number of visible items changes due to filtering.
If this issue is important, consider suggesting it on the Power BI Ideas forum for possible future updates.

Hi @RajK2
I don't think this functionality is available, I can't see any settings that would maintain card size in the button slicer visual.
