Hello,
I created a json file of an shp map file and when I try to load it as a custom shape map, it shows the map but in a very small scale within the visualisation
The whole thing is also very slow and responding with a delay. Is there something wrong with my json file?
Solved! Go to Solution.
How did you create it?
What size is it?
Load it in mapshaper. See what it looks like. Maybe you can simplify it if the size is a problem (i.e. reduce the polygons)
Thanks for the replies. The issue was solved, we had to adjust the shape file and it worked.
Sir, How did you solve this issue, Can you please help me out? I am facing the same issue.
Hi @bundipapa ,
I'm not sure which side is having the problem for now. But I can provide a link to a blog about creating a custom shape map json file, hope it helps you.

"I can't really reduce the poligons, " - have you tried?
I created it on mapshaper.org from an SHP, SHX and DBF files as instructed by the site. There it looks OK. I can't really reduce the poligons, as this is the municipal map of Slovakia, which is exactly what I need.
