I have a requirement for a custom field to be included in a date hierarchy, can anyone advise if this is possible?
Instead of quarters, the client divides a year into 3 so Jan-Apr = T1, May-Aug = T2 & Sept - Dec = T3.
Is it possible to force T1, T2, T3 to be date fields so they can be included in a date hierarchy & slicer?
Hi @keshavagrawal27 , what format is the custom column? I am only able to add date fomat fields to a date hierarchy
Hello @wynhodgkiss ,
You can create a custom conditional column in edit query and map Jan-Apr = T1, May-Aug = T2 & Sept - Dec = T3 in the custom column.
Then drag and drop the newly created custom column in the date heirarchy.
Please mark it as solution if it helps you.
Regards,
Keshav Agrawal.
