Custom date format issue in desktop
Hi all,
Is anyone having issues with custom dates in the latest (Dec) version of Power BI desktop?
We are having issues with American and English date formats in the service (showing differently for different users and generally not liking the English format unless you force it through the URL) so I thought I would try setting a custom date to see if that standardised things, however, PBI seems to want to switch the strings to use capital M which then breaks the preview.
I select an option from the dropdown but PBI creates the incorrect string:
If I manually change the MM to mm it goes haywire and changes to:
Is this a local issue with my machine somehow or can anyone replicate it?
itchyeyeballs I think this is a bug and someone asked the same question a few days ago, solution is to add the custom string in the format section instead here.

itchyeyeballs I think this is a bug and someone asked the same question a few days ago, solution is to add the custom string in the format section instead here.
