Hello There community, not sure if this is in right place or not so sorry if not.
I am using power bi to pull data out of our helpdesk system ZenDesk. Works really well I must say... But for some strange reason when I formet a tile (via Q&A in the dashboard) it just does not save the formatting of the tile (colours, size etc). I cannot see a SAVE button and when I click "Exit Q&A" or "Pin Visual" just reverts back on my dashboard.
Im sure im doing something wrong !
Hi @dave_fluffy,
The background color setting will go back to default after you pin the visual to dashboard, regarding to this issue, you can vote it and add your comment in the following idea.

Thanks,

Pictures help !
So this is what I want it to look like but there is no "save" ..
hi @dave_fluffy
In Q&A you have option to change the visual type and formatting of visual tile and then you can only pin that to your exisitng/new dashboard. You cann't save the tile as Tile is being built at runtime without any saving location.
Once you Pin your tile to any dashboard, your latest formatting will be available in respective dashboard. You should make sure that you are selecting the right dashboard while doing Pin.
Sorry, I tried creating a new Q&A applied all my formatting then pinned it to Dashboard but still same ..
Got it now. You want to change the title/background of the tile.
It will not allow. Currently you can change only visual type and few of the properties including color for data points, text for title etc. Background color change or other related properties change will not work.
In you example give a title to Visual card and it will be saved when you pin to dashboard.
Ok I see but ..... booooooooo !
Why give it as an option if it wont work ??!!
Thanks for your help !
