Do you guys know if there are custom slicers in which you can set the maximum choices a user can make?
For instance when you have a slicer with 6 option set the max selectable options to 2 or 3.
Preferable not a pro version....
Hi @rpinxt
You may try the workarounds from a blog: Two Cool Ways to Limit Slicer Selections in Power BI Desktop | by Paras Patil | Medium. There is a custom visual choice there but probably it cannot 100% meet your requirement.

Thanks I saw that post too.
But the custom visual is actually not limiting the slicer, you can still add as much choises as you want.
And the dax way is not preferred.
Should be an easy and quick way.
But thanks for the suggestions @v-jingzhan-msft
I am not aware of any solution or custom visual to behave like this. It s a good idea though.
Hello,
You can create a measure that checks the number of selected items in a slicer and uses this to display a message or control other aspects of your report dynamically. This won't prevent more selections but can alert users or influence other report elements based on the number of selections.
DAX
Selected Count = COUNTROWS(VALUES('Table'[Column]))
Thanks @Alex87 I read about the dax way.
But still was wondering if there is also a real solution where a slicer has a maximum selection.
