Custom Power BI Calendar

Hi All,

I'm trying to create a custom calendar in Power BI where the week starts from Sunday to Saturday and week no. 1 should start from

1st sunday of each year.

The week number should restart after each year eg. 1st sunday of 2019 is 06/01/2019 so 06/01/2019 should be marked as week no. 1 of 2019 similarly 1st sunday of 2022 is 05/01/2020 so 05/01/2020 should be marked as week no. 1 of 2020.

 

In the screenshot attached below, 06/01/2019 should be week no. 1 of 2019 and days before sunday i.e 01/01/2019 to 05/01/2019 should be marked as last week of 2018 (either week 52 or week 53)

I have been looking for the solution on internet since long time but couldn't find anything.

Is this something that's possible to do it in Power BI ?

    Possible ? Yes. Advisable ? No, a thousand times no.

     

    Any custom calendar (fiscal, or otherwise illogical) is much better maintained manually outside of Power BI.  An Excel file on a Sharepoint is a perfect storage medium, for example.

    would you have the a excel file that I can use to customize the calendar according to my business requirements ?
