Custom Matrix subtotals

Hi folks!

I want to achieve this report.

Below is the data I have coming from one of the db using ImportQuery.

Difference formula will be SR count from 2024 -  SR count from 2023

%change formula will be (SR count from 2024 -  SR count from 2023) /SR count from 2024 *100

    HI Anonymous,

You can create new table with current row category value and custom subtotal that you want to add to the matrix and use this field as matrix row to replace the raw table field.

Then you can write a measure formula to check the current row content value and use this as condition lookup and summary original table values, and return the custom expression result if current row contents equal to the new custom values.

You can also take a look at the following blog if it helps for your scenario:

Creating a “custom” or “hybrid” matrix in PowerBI

  • Hi, guys, I want to custom the name of subtotal, just like the case here want to show the subtotal name as "Alaska land tour total" or "Death Total". But now, I can only set one name for different type. Do you guys have any ideas?
