Custom Gantt Milestones- remove vertical lines

Is it possible to remove the vertical dashed lines from these milestones? Sure would be great if we could...

    Hi, LDub

Unfortunately, custom Gantt visual does not have the ability to remove vertical dashes at this time. Currently, you can only choose to display or not display grid lines.

If you really need this feature, maybe you can contact the visual's author for support.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
    Best Regards,

LDub  How did you manage to get the Milestones to show up on the same row as the task without them replacing the task bar completely?

  • It's not currently possible but here was my workaround:

    • as others have suggested here, you'll need to add a column (named "Milestone" for example) that's null by default, then a duplicate row for each record that has a milestone and fill "Milestone" with a value (for example, 1) Solved: Gantt Chart 2.2.0 milestones - Microsoft Fabric Community.
      • the start and end date for your new marker row should be the same or a very small time apart (I did 1 day to get the marker to show up with a non-zero width)
    • use the Tooltips field well for the new column instead of Milestones
    • make sure "Group Tasks" is checked under Format Visual > Visual > General, so that your marker and your bars end up overlapping on the same line
    • use a Legend to set the color of the fake milestone marker
