Here is the description of the calendar I need to model and utilize for my visualizations in PowerBI:
The Company's Fiscal Year begins every July (P1). In particular, the end of the previous fiscal year is at every last Wednesday of the month June, in particular:
Fiscal 2018 Last Day: Wednesday 27th, June
Fiscal 2019 First Day: Thursday 28th, June
Fiscal 2019 Last Day: Wednesday 26th, July
Fiscal 2020 First Day: Thursday 27th, July
Period 1: July, Period 2: August….Period 12: June
Q1: JUL, AUG, SEP
Q2: OCT, NOV, DEC
Q3: JAN, FEB, MAR
Q4: APR, MAY, JUN
The Company divides its quarters by a 5-4-4 method. This means Q1 of any year consists of July, August, and September. So the 5-4-4 rule means that the first month of every Quarter has 5 weeks, second month of the quarter has 4 weeks, and the third month 4 weeks. This then repeats for each successive quarter.
Please send me any articles or solutions that you have used successfully in the past, anything that could help me set up this Fiscal Calendar. Thank you in advance.
