I am using Power BI in direct lake mode against Microsoft Fabric data. My client would like a report with several slicers on it. One is a date slicer that they pick start and stop date. However what they would like it when you first go to the page it would default to start date being yesterday and then the end date being 1 year out. They also want to be able to select custom date ranges. Is this possible and how so? I have googled and watched youtube and not coming across anything that seems feasible given that in Fabric you cannot create Calculated tables.
Teach your client how to use the Filter pane. Use your screen real estate for meaningful visuals rather than wasting it on slicers.
If you have recently started exploring Fabric, we'd love to hear how it's going. Your feedback can help with product improvements.
