I am setting the positions of many objects in a page.
I will be editing the same option many times for different objects.
So i will start editing the position of many objects image or visual.
In my case I navigate to the option in the the format menu > general > properties > position options.
In my case the objects are images, but I also have tried other visuals.
The option itself or the object should be anything.
11 So I start with the first object.
12 I navigate to the options.
13 I edit the options as I need them.
x = next object loop
x1 I navigate to the next object
x2 When I go to the next object the porperties menu that I have just edit for the previous object is not persistent and resets. So I have to navigate all the way again.
x3 I edit the options as I need them.
I think that some time in the past the properties that you were editing were persistent. Or have imagined.
The feaure is important to do massive fast edits.
One example, if you are arranging 30 objects in a page to defined exact positions, if the menu resets every time you touch the next object, the task goes slower.
Two suggestions

There are many massive edits where the properties shown being persistent is a good thing.
If the property exists in both objects, property shown should be persistent.

Also. It would be a good feature to be able to change the same property in several objects selected at the same time, just as in other office packages.
I know about the menu of massige alignment. THis doesn't solve all the cases.
