Current query cannot be evaluated ... because the table contains more than two billion rows

Just ran into this error when trying to work with an SSAS tabular cube. How to get around that ? I'm using 2.52

@TinHau

Can you try live connection to SSAS Tabular?

And within your Tabular model, can you try DirectQuery when connecting on-premise data source?

Regards,

Hi Simon,

i did some more tests. (I'm using Power BI Desktop 2.52 against an on premise SSAS (SQL2012 SP1 & CompatLevel 1103) instance with a tabular cube. In there are four measures, and this error only occurs one one of them (count). Interestingly I did ran into the same error when I try it via Excel 2016. 😮
