Current and previous year comparison

Hi,

 

I am new in Power BI and DAX, need to compare each year summary with the previous year, tried many examples from the forum, nothing works for me, do not understand why the last year columns are empty.

 

 

Tried the folowing measures:
Last Year = CALCULATE(sum(Volume[Volume]), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Dates[Date]))
Last Year 2 = calculate(sum(Volume[Volume]), PREVIOUSYEAR(Dates[Date]))

And the tables structure:

    Try to tweak your measures following below sample. Check more details in the attached file.

     

    lastYear = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[value]),PREVIOUSYEAR(Dates[Date]))

last2Year = CALCULATE([lastYear],PREVIOUSYEAR(Dates[Date]))
