Currency conversion on all amount fields

Hello experts

I have a requirement where I need to convert all the amount fields across multiple tables to different currency. Now I connected date table with currency table and then date table with other dim or fact tables. Then I came up with a measure with Dax where it is converting one specific amount field (like if I created a measure with ‘full expense’,then if I drag this field ‘ full expense’ in card visual , then it converts to different currency based on slicer selection).
I am wondering if there is any other way where I do not need to create measure using specific field. But some other way to generalize this for all dollar fields.
Thanks in advance
  • Hi Anonymous ,

You could reference the blog:Multiple Currency Logic In Power BI – A LOOKUPVALUE Example to convert multiple columns of currency. In this way, firstly, you need to unpivot columns in the Query Editor. If you don't want to transform data, I think it is the best way to use measures for your requirement.
