I've read many posts regarding Cumulative values. The DAX is basic.
ISSUE:
My numbers start out with the cumulative value of all the prior time periods in the data, not the first days Sales withing the filtered time period.
The Report has a filter for the Month(s) to report
The Chart will be cumulative by Day
The date is from a Date/Calendar Table and the Day Number used in the chart is from the Calandar table
The Data is a "Cube" created by the IT team so the Sales number for each day is a Measure SUM(Sales)
I tried a different version using SUMX and that returned the same.
Here is my formula:
Cumulative Sales =
CALCULATE (
_Sales[Revenue_LocalCurrency] ,
FILTER (
ALL ( DateInvoice[CalendarDate] ),
DateInvoice[CalendarDate] <= MAX ( DateInvoice[CalendarDate] ) ) )
Hi @Anonymous,
It seems that the basic cumulative sum formulas cannot solve your problem.
If it is convenient, could you share some data sample and your desired output so that I can understand your scenario better and get the solution.
Best Regards,
Cherry
