Cumulative matrix (Value same for all rows giving me total)
I'm trying to figure out how to do a commulative total in a matrix. My goal is to have June = May+June; July =May+June+July etc. I found some solutions online but I've hit a brick wall. I'm trying to get a commulative total by brand by month, but I'm getting the same result for each row. I've searches around and tried a few things for the past couple of hours, but can't seem to pin point what I'm doing wrong. I've read articles, posts, etc but can't seem to figure this one out. I'm guessing it has to do with Dates? First time posting, hopefully this is enough information to either point me in the right direction or solve my issue. - Alex
Ending Inv = CALCULATE(
SUM('Planning Model (POs - SO& NRP)'[POs (units]),
FILTER(
ALL('Planning Model (POs - SO& NRP)'),
'Planning Model (POs - SO& NRP)'[Month] <= MAX('Planning Model (POs - SO& NRP)'[Month])
)
)Here are the results:
azj5001 As a best practice, add date dimension in your model and use it for and time intelligence calculations. Once the date dimension is added, mark it as a date table on table tools.

Ending Inv = CALCULATE( SUM('Planning Model (POs - SO& NRP)'[POs (units]), FILTER( ALL(DateTable[Date]), DateTable[Date] <= MAX(DateTable[Date]) ) )I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem.
