Cumulative graph by year and quarters ( with missing quarters)

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a cumulative graph according to a project, year, quarter, and its budget.

Due to missing Quarters in my table ( i.e. row for the year 2022 Q2 does not exist),

my graph is not working well,  the quarters (that does not exist)  are shown in the graph but hold the wrong data.

how can I delete those quarters from the graph or give them the value 0?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your answer!

In the meantime, I created an index column and did the measure based on the index.

then I filtered all the rows so that their index is not blank and it worked.

@Anonymous , Have a separate table with all QTR year

qtr= Addcolumn( generate(distinct(Table[Year]), generateseries(1,4,1)) , "year Qtr", [Year]*10 +[value]

, "year Qtr name",( [Year]*10)&" Q" &[value]

)

In your table also have year Qtr name

and join two

and have a measure like

calculate(Sum(Table[budget]), Filter(all(Qtr), Qtr[year Qtr] <= max(Table[year Qtr]) ))

use columns from qtr table in visual
