Cumulative column to be a calculated column

I have the next dax formula for a measure that gives me the cumulative value from a certain column in my data model;

It works well, except when someone plays with the slicers, sometimes it doesnt show all the months. To ilustrate this:

Desired behavior

January 2

February 2

March 5

April 8

May 8

Actual behaviour after some filters with slicers

January 2

March 5

May 8

So the graph doesnt looks how it was planned. I think it is because of the context, which I guess I can solve with a calculated column instead of a measure. Someone has any idea how I can turn the next dax measure into a column? Or to tell me if my understanding is correct?

Thank you

Output cumulative = CALCULATE( SUM(B2B[Completed_Pts]), FILTER( ALLSELECTED(B2B), B2B[Date] <= MAX(B2B[Date]) ) )

Hi @Anonymous ,

You formula is right and don't need to change it into a calculated column.

Is your table look like this?

If yes, the result is also right after filtering.

If not, please post the sample data and tell us what field does the slicer have.

@Anonymous - Difficult to say. Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
