Cumulative charts
Hi everyone,
I am trying to build a monthly report which includes 5 charts. All in one page.
The second page will be a cumulative one which will sum up each chart every month.
For example: I have 5 purchases in Jan. So the monhly report will be 5 and so will the cumulative one. In february it rose to 7. but the cumlative will be 12. And so on.
My question is the following.
Is there a way to create a page in which I paste the relevant data each month and it will automatically calculate the cumulative values. So I can present in one report the monthly values and in the send one the aggregated ones?
Thanks 🙂
Hi Anonymous ,
For this you need to create a YTD measure in order to use on the second page, to achieve this you also need a calendar table so that the time intelligence calculation can be used.
For example the metric would be something similar to:
Sales Cumulative = TOTALYTD( SUM(Table[Sales], DateTable[Date] )

I don't understand what you mean by "I have 5 purchases in Jan. So the monhly report will be 5"
Is this 5 DETAIL records, each on its own chart?
