Cumulative Open Cases tracking measure in DAX

I want to show cumulative count of distinct topics with Open cases for each month using a measure (DAX). my data looks like below

Hi, The number shows cumulative distinct count of topics for open cases. as you can see there 6 open cases at the end of Feb and 3 distinct topics (2 in feb and 1 in jan)

Sorry, I'm a bit dense. Even though you've given detailed data, I'm trying to understand if you're trying to calculate open cases for different topics each month, but in February there were 4 cases that were OPEN, but 3 of the topics were AD, so why is the result still 3?
