Cross report drill
Hi,
Was looking at website below.
Looking for following functionality
scorecard matrix with measure names across top and values in the matrix itself
and when click on one of teh columns can go to a separate .pbix report specifically for that measure with filters already applied.
I'm wondering if the above website link mentioning cross report drill will give this fucntionality and when will be available for release and/or alternativce ways of accomplishing similar.
Thanks
Hi po
The link says we will support filter context to apply to to the destination report.
Currently, we could drillthrough from one report to another report according to this article
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-drillthrough
However, it supports for the same pbix files. You could create many reports in a pbix file.
Per your requirements, you want a separate .pbix report( different pbix file?) to drillthrough to.
If so, there is no official document regarding this.
Best Regards

Hi,
Thansk for update.

Unsure if I am reading this right but...
I have one PowerBI file that has data at a monthly level.
I then have a seperate PowerBI file that is exactly the same but now has a weekly element/breakdown in the dataset (ie is 4 times bigger)
Reason for seperating is data size was causing performance issues.
Can I drill through from the monthly to the weekly?
I cant seem to get it to work
