Cross-report drill through from slightly different datasets
I have one PowerBI file that has data at a monthly level. I then have a seperate PowerBI file that is exactly the same but now has a weekly element/breakdown in the dataset (ie is 4 times bigger) R...
Hi there,
Have actually managed to get it working - the datasets can be different.
The only thing is that naming conventions and columns that you drillthrough with need to be available in the other dataset also

Continued ContributorI too can confirm that it works with cross-report drill through also if the reports have different datasets IF:
- The reports are in the same workspace
- The table and column name are exactly the same.
- Fields and settings has been setup as usual
