Hello Community,
the users and I receiving error while only trying to exclude values / rows from a matrix table in a power bi report with the below error:
We can't display this visual because a measure is used in cross highlighting. Please remove the measure or cross highlight.
to note that I have disabled cross highlighting / filtering by default and plus I tested the same behavior with removing the measure in the filter pane on the right of the page but still same error. Any idea ?

Hello @Elieekh17 ,
Select the matrix visual, go to Format -> Data/Visual interactions and ensure "None" is selected for cross-highlighting interactions between visuals.
If you find this helpful , please mark it as solution which will be helpful for others and Your Kudos/Likes are much appreciated!
Thank You
