Cross Report Drillthrough not working with CSV files

Hi all,

I created a source and a target report which both use a SQL query to get some data and set up the cross report drillthough successfully. It works like a charm in the Power BI service.

Now I did exactly the same using a CSV file as the source data (and in fact used a copy of the source report to create the target report so that the table name as well as all column names match exactly). I set up the drillthrough in the same way I did when using the SQL sources, uploded both reports to the same workspace as before - which is not "My Workspace" - and it does not work. From my point of view all 2 reports are very similar but just the conection to the source data is different.

Is this cross report drillthrough not working with all data connectors or am I missing something else?

Would highly appreciate some help. Thanks,

Jens

The connectors don't matter.  The query output matters.  Double and triple check that your column and table names match exactly (including case sensitivity and trailing spaces) between the two datasets.
