Hello Team,
Do we have any options to apply credentials on Power BI desktop file (.pbix). so that we can hide the DAX measures and relationship for security purpose. i mean, if in some cases we have to share the .pbix file directly (we are not moving to web services part) and we want to apply some restrictions or like password and all. end user can only view the visualization part can't do anything with DAX, measures & relationship.

An easier solution to implement is to grant users view-only permissions in the service, perfect for users who need to view content without the ability to modify it.
You can also publish the report to a website or portal where users can only view but not edit the report.

@Anonymous , I doubt that pbix can be open without login too. It is a development tool, Secure sharing should always be done using power bi service
