Credentials not accepted when changing source on my sheet
Hello.
I am trying to change the source from my locar server (database is in postgres) to an AWS Lightsail (database also in postgres)
when i am asked for the credentials i enter them and is does not accept them
Error shown
i tried this solution but it does not work
Use a Different Browser for Authentication
- If you are using OAuth or another web-based authentication method, try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache.
- In Power BI Desktop, go to File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Security.
- Enable the option to use your default web browser for authentication
Any suggestions ?
Power Query is sneaky. It caches the credentials you entered. You need to clear them before you can reauthenticate differently.
dmagos Go to datasource settings -> Select your datasource -> Clear Permissions, now hit refresh and re-enter your credentials
