Creating star /snowflake schema for developed SQL/HANA view in power BI

Hi Folks,

Lot of people talk about star/snowflake modelling in Power BI.

But my question here is,if we already have "Developed view /table" coming from HANA/SQL databases which consists of required columns and is combination of all types as in quantitative and qualitative data. Then is it advisable to build fact and dimension table separately in power BI using one single view.As all the required modelling is done in  the -  source table .

or how can we categorize this modelling type where we have one view which consists of fact and dimension related columns.
