Creating slicer using two columns in PowerBi
I am hoping you may be able to help. I am new to this.
Is it possible to create a slicer/measure combing data from two columns.
I am trying to link regions_areas.
For example if I create a horizontal slicers for the 9 regions, can I then create a similar drop down option only showing the areas linked to the region selected?
Using screenshot if I picked Eastmidlands then only the assosicated areas would be populated in a hori
I would also want to add in that only one selection can be made at the region and area level.
Any help much appreciate screenshot
frances555 yes you can create two slicers, one for the region and for the area, and in the format page, you can change the selection to a single selection.
